*Emails sent after 2pm on Friday will be returned by the following Tuesday evening so that we may give our utmost attention to the current orders. Thank you for your understanding and patience, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible!
*Orders that are placed after 12 noon on Thursday, for that current weekend, may be subject to potential sizing/flavor constraints. Due to the “custom” nature of the majority of our orders, please make sure to place your order at least a week in advance to avoid this. We strive to provide the best in quality to ALL customers, so please be mindful of the time/effort/product that is needed to create these works of art for you!
*We reserve the right to make any changes to your design/order that may be necessary to protect the overall integrity of your design/order at any time. We will do our best to convey these changes to you ahead of time, but in some cases they may need to be made without prior notification. We strive to provide you with the absolute best in quality and design and will do our best to protect your interests at all times.
*Orders cancelled more than 72 hours in advance will be refunded minus a $10.00 fee to cover our costs. Orders cancelled less than 72 hours, but more than 24 hours in advance will be refunded minus a $25.00 fee to cover our costs. Orders cancelled 24 hours, or less, in advance will not be refunded due to the costs that are incurred in creating your order.
*Please note that all buttercream based cakes need to be refrigerated until one hour before your event unless otherwise stated at time of pickup. If you are traveling with the cake, keep it refrigerated until right before you leave. All whipped cream based cakes must remain refrigerated until the time of the event. Creations Bakery is not responsible for the mishandling of cakes once the cake leaves the premises.
*All cake and cupcake stand rentals must be returned by the following Tuesday or Wednesday in the same condition as when you picked them up in order to receive your refund. We need the stands to be clean for future orders as well, so please be mindful of this, and bring the stand back clean or we will assess a ten dollar cleaning fee.
About Creations Bakery
At the age of nine, Jamie Cappelletti, owner of Creations Bakery, began to teach herself how to decorate cakes, and told her mother "I am going to be a chef when I grow up." With the support of her family she went on to achieve that dream. By the age of sixteen she was a personal chef, and cake decorator. She graduated as "one of the best in her class" from The Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, New Jersey. While educated in almost all aspects of the food industry, pastry, baking and cake design have always been her passion.
She has served her pastries and cakes to many top celebrities and their families, a national beauty pageant, and placed in the top 3 for wedding cake design at the Jacob Javitz Center Culinary Competition, among many other awards and nominations. She has been employed in both 4-Star and 5-Star catering facilities and restaurants. She also has an extensive background in the wholesale dessert industry, helping to providing over 2,000 cakes, pies, and cheesecakes to five different states weekly.
Jamie moved to Cumming, Georgia, in 2008, and sought a pastry chef position at Creations Bakery. About six months later she purchased the bakery and started transforming (along with her amazing staff) the cakes and pastries into works of art. They have remodeled their retail store, birthday party room and retail bakery to reflect a creative and artful experience! Creations has been featured in several newspapers and magazines, including Northpoint Magazine.
